Brazil’s Economy Minister Paulo Guedes said on Monday that he would like exports to China to reach $100 billion a year within a decade and would also like annual trade with India to reach $100 billion.
In an online address to the International Chamber of Commerce Brasil, Guedes also said a reduction in import tax will ideally be part of a wider tax reform bill, and added that the government’s privatization agenda is overcoming earlier political resistance and is back on track.
